		Blues Cures Studio Jam Vol. 15 CD As Blues For A Cure's 20th anniversary rapidly approaches, the incredible wealth of personal bucket list recording sessions encompassed in this 15 volume series gives me pause, and a recorded legacy of fighting cancer, of which to be very proud. That pride is reflected in each and every note on all 15 of these releases. Every volume has an individual flavor and feel, and for me, specific memories like suggesting a tune that really goes over in the studio! This volume features Victor Wainwright, Bart Walker, Damon Fowler, JP Soars, Sean Carney, Terrence Grayson, Chris Peet and Cleveland Frederick. This one is a gathering of BFAC all time favorites like Hank Williams, Jr. lead guitarist Bart Walker, Marietta College Music Therapy Program graduate and musical powerhouse Sadie Johnson, Pittsburgh’s reigning Blues Queen Miss Freddye, along with her great band, as well as new faces in the fold from Cleveland’s Blue Lunch, lending their little big band swing to the proceedings. 		Blues Cures Studio Jam Vol. 8 CD It's hard to believe that Blues Cures Studio Jam Volume 8 is the tenth CD release from Blues For A Cure and it's amazing to contemplate all of the incredible talent that has been a part of our collective effort to battle this terrible disease that seems to know no boundaries. Blues For A Cure has joined with A Christmas To Cure Cancer in supporting The Heather Pick Music Program at The New OSU James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and it's been inspirational to see this idea come to life in 2015 and to be a part of the healing process through the emotional power of music inside the hospital. 		Blues Cures Studio Jam Vol. 7 CD Blues Cures Volume 7 may be the most adventurous recording in this series with a playlist that reflects just about every possible variety of the Blues and even steps out here and there - but never too far! I am humbled and honored to boast that Jimmy Thackery, J.P. Soars & The Red Hots and Jonn “Del Toro” Richardson are regular contributors, while I welcome a host of incredible talent appearing here for the first time Billy “The Kid” Evanochko & The Regulators, Gina Sicilia and her band, Tonky de la Pena (from Madrid, Spain), and The Dany Franchi Band (from Genoa, Italy). Considering the level of musicianship involved and the 15 songs here, I will let this incredible live-in-the-studio original recording speak for itself, but I’ll reiterate our collective desire to see cancer eliminated from our lives. 		Blues Cures Studio Jam Vol. 3 CD This 2011 release features Duke Robillard, Sean Carney, Jonn Del Toro Richardson, Enrico Crivellaro, Omar Coleman, Ray Fuller, Phil Berkowitz, with Jon Eshelman, Steve Perakis, Louis Tsamous, Larry Carney and Jan Roll. Blues Cures Studio Jam Vol. 3 is an incredible addition to a recorded legacy that already includes such stalwarts as Jimmy Thackery, Henry Gray, Trampled Under Foot, J.P. Soars, The Matt O’Ree Band and many others. The collective passion of these musicians, and all involved in this project to battle a dreaded disease, is what brought us together. SOLD OUT		Blues Cures Studio Jam CD One of the things I love the most about the 2008 Blues For A Cure event program is so many generations were represented. We’re happy that theme continues on this Blues For A Cure studio recording with featured artists Henry Gray, Jonn Richardson and Trampled Under Foot. This session took place on Sunday, December 14, 2008 following The Blues For A Cure Festival that raised $10,000 for the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research at the Arthur G.
