Sean Carney’s Blues For A Cure “Spring Show” 2012 is our second annual event centered around the best Blues in Ohio.  Once again, we will be hosting our event at Woodlands Tavern.  Proceeds from this event will benefit Nationwide’s Children’s Hospital where we’ll be performing a small acoustic concert for the kids on Friday, April 6 at 1pm.

Event Details

Gulfport Energy Corporation presents Sean Carney’s Blues For A Cure 2012 – Harrison County. A Free Public Concert June 30, 2012 starting at 3pm at Sally Buffalo Park, 100 College Way, Cadiz, OH 43907. The proceeds benefit Harrison Community Hospital Foundation Cancer Awareness and Education Fund and American Cancer Society Harrison County Relay Teams.

Featuring legendary bluesman Jimmy Thackery and The Drivers, with special guests, 2012 International Blues Challenge “Albert King” guitarist award winner Bart Walker and former keyboardist for Stevie Ray Vaughan, Reese Wynans, both hailing from Nashville, TN. Opening acts will be The Brighter Side Band from Canton, OH, and the Jeff Poulos Blues Review, also from Canton. Teaming up with the 2007 International Blues Challenge “Albert King” guitarist Sean Carney, is Long Tall Deb from Columbus, OH.

Food will be catered by John Hursey’s Canal House. Water, soda and beer will be available for purchase. Please bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
